So. Are we all being good little thumber-uppers?
Take a chance.
A few things I have learnt from SU's new similarity meter --. I share an interest in space exploration with Judefa, have the same taste in adult humor as the young 13andbored and share a passion for nude art with myself. Which is nonsense.

5 A.M. To Island.
Finger-cold and windy. The sweet-flags showed themselves about in their pads. Hear Maryland yellowthroat. Many grackles still in flocks singing on trees, male and female, the latter a very dark or black ash, but with silvery eye. I suspect the red-wings are building. Large white maples began to leaf yesterday, at least, generally; one now shows considerably across the river. The aspen is earlier. Viburnum dentatum yesterday leafed. Bass to-morrow (some shoots sheltered now).
I'm not sure he's got the hang of blogging yet.

"Your children are not your children."
"You are not enclosed within your bodies, nor confined to houses or fields."
Kahlil Gibran

Gibran's words take me to somewhere out of this world. I want my friend Carol to read The Prophet now, and Ricki.
The generation before us is amused for we talk of music so much. Music to them is I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside and Don't Bring Lulu; a nursery rhyme has more meaning. Music is a universal language, a way of life. A religion.

My friend Rick charged up to work the other day and gave me this book,

which is too much, man. It's about living free, bumming, a guide to pot, jobs and free everything. Brilliant.
I went berserk today, wanting to get stoned on something -- anything -- and there was nothing around, man. Ended up getting immersed in Black Widow's Come to the Sabbat, throwing off my clothes and acting it out. It was really cool.
Rick's bloody song's on now -- Me and You and a Dog Named Blue/Boo/Soo/Poo.
It drags. He says it's desperation, man. I think it's as flat as Matthew's Southern Comfort. He says it's about him.

Just home from a party at Carol and Mike's. Same as every other party but I was happy; good scene.
Fred is so beautiful and he leaves Invercargill for good next Tuesday. Tonight he talked and danced with me all night and took me home. He's a really cool guy.
On my way to a promoter's motel last night I was walking through the empty streets in my long hippie fun dress feeling free and happy and ran into a hippie holding a sleeping bag. He said did I know where he could get a bed (this was about quarter past 11). I suggested hotels and failing that the park, then he told me his life story.
Wonder how Graham is. No worries if he's found someone to warm his little bed. Our relationship is far more spiritual than physical. And he's such a beautiful God child. I just want him to be happy. God, I love that guy. Read from The Prophet again, my dear. Our spirits are one at this moment.
